CTMH Confetti Wishes - Birthday Theme Paper Collection

What a bright, colorful, cheerful paper collection for birthday layouts and cards!  CTMH Confetti Wishes features Thistle, Canary (love these two new colors), Lagoon, Pacifica, and Pear colors.  The designs on the papers look like a confetti party.  Makes me smile just looking at them.  This workshop makes three 2-page layouts and twelve birthday cards (2 each of 6 designs).  I used the Make It From Your Heart patterns for all the cards.  Great and easy way to stock up on birthday cards for next year.

Snowhaven 8 Page Layout Workshop

I took about a month off from scrapbooking to help my husband with a big project and am just now getting the Snowhaven workshop completed.

WOW.  Love the colors (Cranberry, Black, Whisper, Glacier, and White) and how it all fit together so nicely.  This is one of those paper packs where I had envisioned just how the last layout should look.  The intention was to use the same medallions that CTMH used for the Snowhaven wreath in the Idea Book, but they were too bulky for scrapbook layouts.  Instead, the snowflake circles look just as cute, without all the paper folding and the bulk.  The chipboard shapes are perfect for the winter theme – and NO stamping in this workshop!  Assembly is quick and easy for this one.

Yuletide Carol 8 Page Layout Workshop

They say that confession is good for the soul so I’m going to have to make a confession here – I was not a big fan of the CTMH Yuletide Carol paper pack when I first saw it in the book.  Even after getting it in my hands I was a little skeptical about the non-traditional colors for Christmas layouts.

But, once again, CTMH has proven that they are on trend and their papers do work beautifully together.

The photographs never really do justice to the layouts, and that is certainly the case this time as well.  The papers are absolutely gorgeous together.  And that is coming from a very traditional Christmas kind of girl!!!!  I was at a retreat last weekend, and had fun working with a couple of very talented women in getting just the right embellishments added.  Hope you like the layouts.

Pathfinding Workshop - Layouts, A Waterfall Folio Mini, and 4 Cards

The CTMH Pathfinding paper pack and embellishments are my favorite, favorite, favorite colors!!!  Did I ever mention that I like Autumn and all the beautiful colors of Autumn?  Maybe once or twice?  Autumn Rocks!!!!!  Okay, I’ll settle down now.

The featured colors are Autumn Terracotta, Barn Red, Champagne, Chocolate, Glacier, Goldrush, Olive, and Colonial White.  My favorites!!!  Oh wait, I already said that.  The chipboard shapes in the complements pack are beautiful.  All the sides of the patterned papers play nicely with each other.  I wanted to just keep creating with these papers.  This is one I will order more of before it is gone.

This workshop has only two 2-page layouts.  BUT, it has a fabulous Waterfall Folio mini-album and 4 cards.  After seeing a mini-album that Terry Morrow (thank you Terry) posted, I followed her link to a great tutorial on how to construct a Waterfall Folio mini album.  The mini album in this workshop was made from Ginger’s (My Sister’s Scrapper) tutorial, with Ginger’s permission to include it in my workshop.  She has many wonderful tutorials that are easy to follow.  This is the link to Ginger's Waterfall Folio tutorial.

Chalk It Up!

The CTMH Chalk It Up paper pack and embellishments are perfect for Back To School photos!  But I discovered while playing with the papers that they will work for many other photos as well; school events, family gatherings, or just hanging out with friends.   The featured colors are Lagoon, Black, Sorbet, Flaxen, and White.  And the Lagoon and Black combo makes a strikingly bold layout, my favorite from this 10 page workshop.  Yep, five 2-page layouts!!  A couple of the layouts have several layers of matting, so I did add more cardstock than usual – but it is very much worth the extra cardstock.  And there’s even a little bit of stitching on one layout.  All in all, one of my favorite efforts.

Blast from the past - Moonlight

How about a workshop from a 2012 paper pack?  I’ve been trying to find time to get this workshop done ever since the Artbooking cartridge was released, and I am FINALLY finished.  If you happen to still have the Close To My Heart Moonlight paper pack and also have the Artbooking cartridge, this will be a fun and easy workshop for you.  All the pages are cut entirely with Artbooking.

It is an 8 x 8 round mini-album using the Moonlight papers, chipboard shapes, and assortment pack.  It makes a cute album for lots of trick or treat photos.

Jubilee 8 Page Layout Workshop

Colorful!  The CTMH Jubilee collection is loaded with lots of color.  Bright colors.  Fun colors.  State / County Fair pictures, country life pictures, retro pictures, and playground pictures would be perfect for the Jubilee layouts.  Every time I look at the Cranberry checkered paper I remember one of my grandmother’s old tablecloths and the wonderful family gatherings centered around her tables.  This workshop uses the featured Cranberry, Indian Corn Blue, Honey, and Topiary colors, plus a little Sweet Leaf and Cocoa to blend with the Bandana paper.  Take a look – see what you think.
